In this week’s episode we had the absolute pleasure of talking to Yanna Papadopoulos Yanna is a Teacher – Teen Coach - Writer (Yanna) Joanne Papadopoulos coaches teachers, teens, and grown-ups and has been featured in Authority Magazine and Thrive Global. She has been teaching for the public board in Calgary, Alberta Canada for 16 years. She is also a college instructor, a professional development workshop facilitator for educators, the Vice president of Seeds Connections Organization Leadership Program, and founder and owner of Teenacers. Yanna holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts, a Bachelors of Education, and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Gonzaga University. In our chat with Yanna... We dive deep into the sensitive relationships of teenagers, teachers, the impact the pandemic has had on both figures and the importance of leadership at these times. Joanne (Yanna) focuses on how important the teen years are, as well as teachers and their mental health. She explains to us how teachers are now on the front lines, and how they are having to find meaning in the middle of one of the biggest crisis'. Joanne (Yanna) states and expands on the fact that we never really grow out of adolescence and shares her opinion on how we could salvage this past year through finding meaning and not trying to make sense of it.
