He wore his 1st pair of glasses. He lost complete sight in the left eye. There was no diagnosis. He moved to San Fernando, California. Shortly after obtained a job with from La Palma Bakery. Work was from 4am till school started and then after school and Saturdays. Attended San Fernando Elementary, Jr. and High School. Worked in door to door sales and managing thru High School. 1970, started Chiropractic School. At age 19, he decided to go out drinking with his friends. He ended getting into a bar fight where I was hit on right side of face and the back of the head with a piece of wood. Two weeks later I had a giant retnal tear in the back of the eye. Three surgeries later there was nothing else they could do. Totally blind November, 1972.
