Job Ter Burg - Dutch Film Editor

from Spoiler Alert Radio

Dutch Editor, Job Ter Burg started out as an editor for mostly television documentaries, but after his continued collaboration with film school class mate Martin Koolhoven on Dark Light and the highly awarded Suzy Q, he focused on editing feature films.  After two nominations for Best Film Editing for his work on Godforsaken for Pieter Kuijpers and Schnitzel Paradise for Martin Koolhoven, Job became the lead film editor on the prestigious Black Book, Paul Verhoeven’s first Dutch film in 20 years.   Black Book by Paul Verhoeven and Winter In Wartime by Martin Koolhoven were both shortlisted for the Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category. Job was also awarded with the Golden Calf for Best Film Editing for work on Rudolf van den Berg’s film Tirza. Job is co-founder and President of the Netherlands Association of Cinema Editors (NCE) and is a regular guest teacher, lecturer and editing coach.
