Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. As this day begins to slow, many of us quietly reflect on the things we wish had been different. Some carry disappointment, others carry regret, while many are simply waiting for God to move in situations that have remained unchanged for a long time. If your heart is longing for restoration today, let’s bring those hopes to the Lord who still makes all things new. Joel 2:25 (NIV) “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten…” What a remarkable promise. Our God is not only the God of new beginnings; He is also the God of restoration. Nothing placed into His loving hands is beyond His power to redeem. Even when we cannot yet understand His timing, we can trust His heart. Today, let us quietly declare together that fear will not win, because the God who restores is already at work, even in places where we cannot yet see the outcome. Father, thank You that Your faithfulness reaches into every chapter of our lives. Thank You that You never stop working for the good of those who place their trust in You. Lord Jesus, restore weary hearts, strengthen those who have grown discouraged, bring healing to those who are unwell and renew hope in every listener who wonders whether life can change. Help us to leave disappointment at Your feet and to look towards tomorrow with fresh confidence in Your unfailing love. Holy Spirit, breathe new courage into our hearts, renew our vision and help us recognise the quiet ways You are restoring us day by day. Across the world, from Adelaide to Queenstown, from Singapore to Nashville and Buenos Aires, may every listener discover that the God of restoration is still writing new chapters filled with grace, hope and faithful love.
