What does a church look like when its faith is genuinely alive? In this episode, we travel back to Thessalonica and meet a young church that, despite facing ridicule, hostility, persecution and pressure to conform, was growing into something remarkable. Paul’s words praise three defining marks on their lives: faith, hope and love — but what did those things actually look like in practice? As we explore the Thessalonians’ story, we’ll discover how faith produces action, how love should shape the way we respond to others—even our enemies—and how hope in the return of Jesus gives us the strength to endure. The challenge is not to consider whether our faith is perfect, but whether it is growing and becoming increasingly fruitful. Are we simply going with the current, or are we willing to live differently because of Jesus?
