The pace of the day is slowing, and there is space to reflect on where we have walked, what we have learned and what still rests upon our hearts. At moments like this it is comforting to remember that we do not find our way through life alone. Jesus describes Himself as the Good Shepherd—the One who knows His people personally, walks before them and never abandons those in His care. Before we think about tomorrow, let’s rest for a moment in the certainty that we are known, loved and safely held by Him. Scripture (NIV) “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.” — John 10:14 Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Jesus, our Good Shepherd, who faithfully leads us with wisdom, compassion and unfailing love. As this day draws towards its close, help us to rest in the assurance that You know every part of our lives. Thank You that nothing we have faced today has been hidden from Your loving care. When tomorrow feels uncertain, remind us that the Good Shepherd has already gone before us. Teach us to recognise His voice above every distraction and to follow Him with trusting hearts. May the Holy Spirit give us peace for this evening, confidence for tomorrow and joyful assurance that we belong forever to Christ, who lovingly watches over His people. Fear will not win, because the Good Shepherd knows us, walks before us and faithfully keeps us in His care. May the Lord Jesus surround you this evening with His perfect peace, guide you with His gentle voice and remind you that you are safely held in His faithful hands.
