Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. The day is now drawing to a gentle close. Some moments have filled our hearts with gratitude, while others may still leave us with unanswered questions. Yet before we settle into the quietness of the night, Jesus gives us a promise that is stronger than every fear and steadier than every uncertainty. Tonight, let your heart rest in the certainty that you belong to Him. John 10:27–28 (NIV) “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” What wonderful assurance these words bring. We are not held securely because of our own strength, but because of the faithful grip of our Good Shepherd. Whatever this day has brought, and whatever tomorrow may hold, His hand remains steady and His love remains constant. So tonight, let’s quietly remind ourselves that fear will not win, because we are safely held in the loving hands of Jesus Christ, and nothing can take us away from His faithful care. Father, thank You for Your goodness throughout this day. Thank You for every unseen protection, every answered prayer and every quiet reminder that You have remained close beside us. Lord Jesus, watch over every listener tonight. Bring healing to those who are unwell, comfort to those who feel alone, peace to every anxious heart and restful sleep to every weary mind. As we close our eyes this evening, help us to trust that tomorrow is safely held in Your hands because our lives are safely held in Yours. Holy Spirit, surround every home with Your peace, strengthen our faith and prepare our hearts to welcome a new day with joyful confidence in Christ. Across the world, from Hobart to Hamilton, from Singapore to Birmingham and Buenos Aires, may every listener rest tonight with the quiet assurance that the Good Shepherd is watching over them, His love is unchanging and His promises are forever true.
