Much has happened since this morning, and perhaps there are still questions that remain unanswered or burdens that feel difficult to put down. Yet before we close our eyes tonight, Jesus speaks words that have comforted hearts for generations. He does not ignore our concerns, nor does He dismiss our struggles. Instead, He lovingly invites us to place our trust in Him. Before sleep finds us, let’s quietly bring every care into His faithful hands and rest in the peace that only Christ can give. Scripture (NIV) “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.” — John 14:1 Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing love shown to us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. As this day comes to its peaceful close, help us to release every worry, every disappointment and every unanswered question into Your loving care. When anxious thoughts try to linger, gently remind us of the words of Jesus and fill our hearts with His perfect peace. Thank You that You remain faithful through every season of life and that Your presence never leaves us. May the Holy Spirit quiet our minds, strengthen our faith and help us rest tonight with complete confidence in Christ. As we sleep, let our hearts remain secure in Your promises, knowing that the Saviour who has faithfully walked with us today will also be with us when tomorrow begins. Fear will not win, because Jesus Christ is our peace, and in Him our hearts can rest without fear. May the Lord Jesus surround you with His perfect peace tonight, calm every anxious thought and awaken you tomorrow with renewed hope, quiet strength and joyful confidence in His unfailing love.
