I do not give to you as the world gives.” Now the day is quieting, but perhaps your mind is still awake. Maybe there are things you wish you had done differently, things tomorrow may bring, or worries that keep returning when the room becomes still. You don’t have to carry them into the night. Jesus, we come to You now. You have been with us through this day. You met us in our fear, gave us strength when life felt too much, carried our burdens when we were overwhelmed, and restored our tired souls. So tonight, we surrender everything again. We pray for Ireland, South Korea, Botswana, Netherlands, Israel and Zimbabwe. Wherever this prayer is being heard, bring the peace of Jesus into homes, hospital rooms, bedrooms and quiet places where people are listening alone. Holy Spirit, quiet anxious thoughts. Help us release what cannot be changed tonight. We give You tomorrow because tomorrow belongs in Your hands. Jesus, Your peace is not dependent upon circumstances being perfect. Your peace comes from knowing that You are here. So we release the unfinished conversation. We release the unanswered question. We release the fear about tomorrow. We release the things we cannot control. And we receive Your peace. The day has been carried by grace. We don’t need to carry it any further. Jesus has been with us. Jesus has strengthened us. Jesus has carried us. Jesus has restored us. And now Jesus gives us peace. Be still, dear heart. You are safe to rest in Him. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
