Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. There is so much noise competing for our attention each day. Headlines can unsettle us, responsibilities can weigh heavily upon us and unexpected situations can quickly disturb our peace. Yet in the middle of a restless world, Jesus speaks words that still bring comfort today. His peace is not fragile. It is steady, enduring and deeply rooted in His unchanging presence. John 14:27 (NIV) “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” What a beautiful promise to carry with us today. The peace Christ gives does not depend upon perfect circumstances or easy days. It grows from knowing that the Lord remains faithful in every season of life. So today, let’s gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ fills our hearts with a peace that the world cannot give and cannot take away. Father, thank You for being our constant source of peace. Thank You that when our hearts become unsettled, Your presence remains calm, faithful and unchanging. Lord Jesus, encourage every listener today. Bring healing to those who are unwell, peace to anxious minds, reassurance to those facing uncertainty and renewed hope to every heart that feels overwhelmed. Help us to receive Your peace and carry it into every conversation, every responsibility and every moment of this day. Holy Spirit, quiet our thoughts, strengthen our faith and help us become peacemakers who reflect the compassion, gentleness and grace of Christ wherever we go. Across the world, from Brisbane to Auckland, from Singapore to Charlotte and Bogotá, may every listener experience the lasting peace that comes from walking closely with Jesus today.
