SCRIPTURE — JOHN 15:11 (NIV) “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” Sometimes the middle of the day reveals what the morning managed to hide. You may have been busy, productive and surrounded by people, yet inside you feel flat. Perhaps the pressure of the day has slowly drained your joy Jesus spoke about a joy that comes from remaining close to Him. Lord Jesus, we turn our attention back to You. Today we pray for people in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, South Africa, and Germany. Bring fresh encouragement to people who have lost their sense of joy. Meet those who are disappointed, tired, lonely or simply struggling to see anything good in their circumstances. Holy Spirit, awaken gratitude within us again. Jesus, we do not want a shallow happiness that depends on everything going our way. Give us Your joy, rooted deeper than circumstances. Help us notice small gifts today: a conversation, a meal, a moment of kindness, a breath of fresh air, or simply the knowledge that You are near. Where disappointment has taken up too much space, make room for hope. Where we have forgotten how to give thanks, gently turn our hearts towards You. Jesus, restore what has become tired within us. Teach us to receive joy as we remain close to You. The day may not be perfect, but You are still good. Your presence is still here. Your grace is still enough. So we receive this moment as a gift and place our hearts back into Your hands. Amen. Blessing: May the joy of Jesus rise within you today, renew your heart and help you see reasons to give thanks. midday prayer for joy, prayer when you feel discouraged, Christian prayer for renewal, John 15:11 prayer, prayer for gratitude, Jesus gives joy prayer, Jesus, joy, renewal, gratitude, hope, midday, faith, Christian, devotion A midday prayer for renewed joy, gratitude and hope.
