Jesus then makes powerful claims about His identity, declaring His unity with the Father and His authority to give life and execute judgment. He says in John 5:24, “I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.” This chapter reveals that Jesus is not just a healer—He is the source of life, the Judge of all, and the One sent by the Father.
