Dark Rebel is one of the best designer fragrance releases of this year. It's boozy with whiskey and rum notes plus has beautiful tobacco and dark leather. It's the evolution of the John Varvatos fragrances brand and one of the best releases. I'm happy to start exploring the John Varvatos fragrance brand with Dark Rebel one of the best from the line. The fragrance is very boozy and green to me. The green notes are elevated to my nose. The clary sage and cade essence also act like a dark masculine barber shop style men's fragrance. I'm not saying this is a traditional barber shop scent but it hints at it lightly. I just love the scent and I'm happy to wear this one. Dark Rebel is best suited for fall, winter and spring everyday wear for men who want to stand out a bit from the crowd of fragrances that all are starting to smell the same.
