Recorda com saudade os tempos de arbitragem e diz que a atual geração de árbitros tem menos qualidade do que as anteriores: “João Pinheiro é grande, mas não é grande coisa e Luís Godinho considera-se uma estrela de cinema”. Na sua habitual análise ao trabalho dos árbitros, no jornal O Jogo, Coroado também já focou Luís Godinho, após um jogo entre Braga e FC Porto, na temporada 2020/2021.
