Siguiendo nuestra línea de los jueves dedicada al Laboratorio Sonoro 2022, les traemos algunas obras de Jorge Luis Pacheco Estefan. Este músico, Magister en composición, musicología y dirección de orquesta, estudió en la Universidad de Chile con Rolando Cori y David del Pino Klinge y en el Conservatorio Nacional de París con Michael Levinas. Pacheco, ha sido director asistente de importantes orquestas latinoamericanas como la Orquesta USACH, Sinfónica de Lima, Sinfónica de Montevideo, OSEM. Fue becado por la SACEM y la Académie de Beaux Arts de Paris (Francia), premiado en la III Convocatoria para compositores Chilenos de la Orquesta de la Universidad de Concepción (2014) y Primer Lugar en el Concurso Cantata por el Diálogo de Chile de la Universidad Católica de Chile (2021). Su catálogo de obras incluye música de cámara, orquesta, ópera y videoarte. Fue director titular de la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil Regional de Los Lagos entre el 2016 y el 2021. Actualmente es académico de la carrera de Pedagogía en Artes de la Universidad de Los Lagos y director de la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil Regional de Aysén. Es miembro de la Asociación Nacional de Compositores desde el 2017 y forma parte del Foro de Compositores del Sur. A continuación escucharemos de este compositor la obra De lo visible y lo invisible para flauta, clarinete, violín, violonchelo y piano cuyo estreno tuvo lugar en el Auditorio Olivier Allain del Conservatorio Regional de París en el año. 2010.
