I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” In these early hours when the mind wakes before the body and worry rises uninvited, we look to Your words, Jesus, for the calm our hearts long for. Joshua was told to be strong and courageous not because he felt ready, but because Your presence stood with him. Tonight, that same presence steadies us. You remind us that courage is not a feeling but a gift born from Your nearness. As thoughts begin to swirl and tomorrow tries to whisper fear, Your voice speaks peace that settles the deepest places. You say, “Do not let your heart be troubled,” and in these quiet hours we choose to receive that peace. Let Your strength meet every anxious thought, let courage rise gently where uncertainty has settled, and let Your calm fill the early light of this new day. Across the world, from Portuguese-speaking believers praying “Tu és a minha força,” to families in India seeking guidance, to those in the United States needing reassurance for the day ahead, Your promise of peace remains unchanged. You enter the restless places, the worried moments, the fragile thoughts, and You breathe steady courage into us. Jesus, strengthen the one who feels overwhelmed before the day has even begun. Bring clarity where confusion has been, comfort where fear has tried to linger, and gentle assurance that You go before them. As this new day approaches, let Your peace be the anchor that steadies the heart, and let Your courage guide every step. Amen.
