Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. By now, many of us are fully engaged in the rhythm of the day. Meetings have begun, families need our attention, decisions are waiting to be made and unexpected situations may already have appeared. It is often at this point that our confidence is tested. Yet God does not ask us to face today in our own strength. He promises to walk with us wherever this day may lead. Joshua 1:9 (NIV) “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” What a powerful promise for every believer. Courage is not the absence of fear; it is the confidence that God is present even when life feels uncertain. As we continue through today, let’s quietly remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ walks beside us, His promises remain unshaken and His presence never leaves those who trust in Him. Father, thank You that You never send us into today alone. Thank You that Your wisdom goes before us, Your strength sustains us and Your faithful love surrounds us wherever we go. Lord Jesus, encourage every listener today. Bring healing to those who are unwell, wisdom to those making difficult decisions, peace to troubled hearts and fresh courage to everyone facing challenges that seem greater than their own ability. Help us to stand firm, knowing that You remain with us in every circumstance. Holy Spirit, fill us with quiet confidence, guide our conversations and help us reflect the kindness, grace and steadfast hope of Christ throughout this day.
