Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” John 14:1 (NIV): “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me.” As midday arrives, Jesus, we pause to breathe and gather strength for what still lies ahead. Joshua was urged to keep walking with courage, even when the path was uncertain. Today many across the United States face decisions that feel heavy, while believers in India carry responsibilities requiring clarity. Portuguese-speaking Christians whisper “dá-me coragem, Senhor”, asking for Your strength to steady the heart. Let this prayer become a place of renewed inner confidence for everyone feeling stretched at the noon hour. Midday can reveal pressure. We realise what remains undone, what conversations are still ahead, what tasks continue to demand focus. Yet You speak into this very moment: do not be afraid. You go with us into every meeting, every challenge, every place where strength feels thin. Give courage that rises gently, not through force, but through Your presence guiding every breath. Replace discouragement with a grounded confidence that You hold the day, and nothing arrives without Your awareness. Let this be the hour where fear loosens and hope returns. Strengthen our resolve with steady peace. Help us move through the rest of the day with calm intention, listening for Your voice and trusting Your direction. Lift every troubled heart and settle every anxious thought. Jesus, guide our steps, steady our emotions, and surround us with the courage we need to continue with grace.
