As a new week begins, many of us step into today carrying both expectation and uncertainty. There may be opportunities waiting to be embraced, responsibilities already filling our thoughts or challenges that seem larger than our own strength. Yet before this day gathers its pace, God meets us with a promise that has strengthened His people for generations. He does not ask us to walk ahead on our own. He walks before us, remains beside us and faithfully surrounds us with His presence, giving courage for every step that lies ahead. Joshua 1:9 (NIV) “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of this new morning and for the confidence that comes from knowing You are already present in every moment that awaits us. Lord Jesus, when uncertainty tries to weaken our faith, remind us that Your promises remain unchanging and Your love never fails. Help us to meet every conversation, every responsibility and every unexpected moment with quiet confidence, knowing that You are leading our steps. Holy Spirit, strengthen every weary heart, encourage every discouraged soul and fill us afresh with the courage that grows from trusting completely in You. Today we declare that fear will not win, because the God who calls us forward also walks faithfully beside us. Teach us to live with humility, speak with kindness and reflect the hope of Christ wherever this day may lead. May our lives become a testimony to Your faithfulness and a source of encouragement to those we meet. May Your peace guard every heart, Your wisdom direct every decision and Your presence be deeply known throughout this day.
