Sometimes the beginning of a new day can feel exciting, and at other times it can feel uncertain. Yet before we think about everything that lies ahead, let’s remember the most important truth of all. We do not begin this day alone. The God who called Joshua to move forward with courage is the same faithful God who walks beside us today. Before we take our next step, let’s pause together and place this new day into His hands. Scripture (NIV) “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9 Heavenly Father, thank You that Your presence goes with us wherever this day may lead. When uncertainty whispers to our hearts, remind us that You are already walking ahead of us. Replace fear with courage, discouragement with hope and hesitation with quiet confidence in Your promises. Help us to trust You in every conversation, every responsibility and every unexpected moment. Fill us with the strength that comes from knowing You are near. May our words reflect Your kindness, our decisions honour Your wisdom and our lives point others towards Your unfailing love. We step into this day with confidence because You faithfully walk beside us. Fear will not win, because the Lord our God is with us wherever we go. May the Lord strengthen your heart today, fill you with quiet courage and remind you that His faithful presence goes before every step you take.
