Joy and Forgiveness

Suffering is a universal problem, and almost as universal is the hurt, anger, resentment, and bitterness that can accompany or follow suffering. The Apostle Paul suffered as a prisoner in Rome, yet he wrote, “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you.” If we are going to have joy in life we must let go of unforgiveness and resentment.  Verses: Acts 9:4; 2 Cor. 1:5; 5:10; Phil. 3:10; 1 Peter 4:13; Rom. 8:22-27, 32; Matt. 5:11-12; Col. 1:24  Teacher: John Schoenheit
