【Judges 10:16】

「So they put away the foreign gods from among them and served the Lord. And His soul could no longer endure the misery of Israel.」 Amen. After the judges Tola and Jair died, the people once again turned to idol worship. Then, trembling at the Ammonite invasion, they cried out to the Lord. The Lord dealt with them harshly at times, gently at others, but ultimately sought to save them. And in the next chapter, the judge Jephthah appears. Just as Jesus grieved when He saw Jerusalem, a city of betrayal and wickedness, so too the Lord Himself grieves over the people's repeated unbelief. Yet ultimately, He forgives and saves them. May we give thanks today for the Lord's mercy... God bless you. See you tomorrow.
