【Judges 11:12】

「Now Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the people of Ammon, saying, "What do you have against me, that you have come to fight against me in my land?"」 Amen. Jephthah, the son of a prostitute, had been driven from his homeland, but when the Ammonites attacked, the terrified people pleaded, “Come and be our leader.” Ultimately, Jephthah accepted and defeated the Ammonites. However, through an unexpected turn of events, he ended up vowing to offer his only daughter to God. What stands out about his conduct in battle was his attempt to negotiate a non-combat resolution before fighting. Though his life was filled with anguish, he was a judge worthy of praise for calming his opponents, offering counsel, and issuing warnings. May we walk in the Lord's ways today as well... God bless you. See you tomorrow.
