【Judges 2:18】

「And when the Lord raised up judges for them, the Lord was with the judge and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for the Lord was moved to pity by their groaning because of those who oppressed them and harassed them.」 Amen. During Joshua's lifetime, the people served the Lord faithfully. But after Joshua died, the younger generation began to do evil and fall into idolatry. Each time this happened, God raised up a judge, and peaceful days returned. Yet when the judge died, they reverted to their old ways. This cycle defined the era of the judges. Our faith, too, ebbs and flows like the waves, rising and falling with great intensity. We long to row further out to sea and live a faith life that is calm and stable. May we walk today in the midst of the Lord's grace... God bless you. See you next week.
