As discussed in our previous episodes, our prayers will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. We began in Genesis and will conclude in Revelation by the end of the year.Today, we are entering the New Testament area of the bible. Our scripture will be taken from the book of Matthew 5:3-4, and it reads: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” As we pray, let us open our hearts to the many blessings that the Lord is pouring into our lives. Blessed are the humble and the oppressed, for they represent a spirit that holds onto hope and the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who grieve and feel the weight of loss, for in their sorrow, they will find relief and comfort that brings healing to their hearts.Support the show
