How do we pray and not get frustrated at the consistency with which our world gathers around arrogant and unjust leadership? It has happened time and time again in history. Psalm 2 gathers the Son, whom we now know to be Jesus, into the verses and laughs at the kings of the earth. Perhaps this is why Jesus could be silent in front of Pilate. The kings of the earth will lose, and Jesus the King will win.
