Our scripture will be taken from Malachi 3:17, and it reads: “They shall be mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “On the day that I make them my jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.” The Lord is reminding us that prayer is a powerful and transformative practice. When we earnestly seek God's guidance in our lives, we open ourselves to the abundance of protection and grace that He offers. The Lord will protect and cherish us, just as a father treasures and safeguards his beloved child. God promises to surround us with His care and protection, especially when we are steadfast in our faith. As we pray, let us remember that through prayer, we not only strengthen our relationship with God but also gain the assurance that we are valued and protected like treasured jewels in His sight.Support the show
