June 19 – Day 170. The Lord is Good

We began in the book of Genesis and will conclude in the book of Revelation. Today, we are diving into the book of Nahum. Our scripture will be taken from Nahum 1:7, which reads: “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble. and he knows them that trust in him.” The Lord is reminding us that He is a good God, especially during our moments of disappointment and depression. In times of distress, when we may feel lost or overwhelmed, he is providing us with strength and security. He is a reliable refuge during life's storms, offering not only relief but also support to all who seek his presence. God's understanding runs deep; he truly cares for each of us who places our trust in him. With a heart full of compassion, he guides us through our challenges with his unfailing love and faithfulness. This divine assurance brings comfort and hope, reminding us that we are never alone in our struggles and that his light shines most brightly in our darkest hours. As we pray, let us lean on him during our prayer, for he is a source of peace and resilience that empowers us to rise above adversity.Support the show
