Friends of the Rosary,In today’s reading (John 17:1–11a), we see Jesus praying to the Father.“I do not pray for the world but for the ones you have given me, because they are yours, and everything of mine is yours and everything of yours is mine, and I have been glorified in them.”In Christ, heaven and earth, God and humanity, came together.By healing the sick and setting the pathway for mercy and forgiveness, He brought God’s will.He carried divine light into the darkness of humanity’s sins — hatred, violence, corruption, cruelty, arrogance, and immorality. He taught through His sorrowful passion that darkness is not the most powerful force on earth.
