June 7 | Thinking of Others First

Today’s readings from 2 Chronicles 28–29 and John 17 invite us to consider how God forms us as our attention moves beyond ourselves and toward the needs of others. Rather than focusing exclusively on what He is about to endure, He intercedes for others, asking the Father to protect, unite, and sanctify them in truth. His prayer reveals a heart fully committed to the spiritual well-being of those He loves.Together, these passages invite us to notice where our attention naturally settles and how God may be forming us into people who care deeply for others.
