You can check the video version here: https://youtu.be/Y4YL7xlPC9A CREDITS: coloradoweeks - bass http://coloradoweeks.io/ Ian Martyn - whistle https://ianmartyn.bandcamp.com/ krobonil - piano https://www.youtube.com/@krobonil Unknown Pseudoartist - arrangement, vocals, mix, production of both music and video, etc http://unknownpseudoartist.com/ Original source known as "Blessing of Nature", "Itori Village" and other titles, since it was not released officially. Composed by Yasuhiro Kawasaki. DETAILED BORING TEXT: This was done for Soundole's ChillOut 2024 competition. Obviously this is not expected to win anything! But I just noticed it's the time of the year when @tremendouz posted his own entry and then I got the inspiration to try something, since it'd be my first time having a presence in that event despite knowing Soundole and both his music and contests. It's time to extend the bird invasion! Arrangement had quick progress and I was lucky enough to find the right people to collab playing real instruments for it. However, the rest of the process was full of trouble, which is kinda ironic since this is meant to be chill but it was an anxious mess to deal with. Mostly technical unexpected issues, basically. Still now there is a considerable number of issues in both music and video, but after so many hours I decided to just let it as it is. You may check more details about the contest, and also since you are there check more from Soundole's music and stuff, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sx2auuvegvw The title I had in mind, "Just as roses have thorns..." is based in an advice a random NPC tells you in the game. A curious particularity about Illusion of Gaia, which is also pretty common in other Quintet games, is to rely on polarized themes and, for instance, every town and place has two opposite sides. A place you think it's wonderful you later notice a surprisingly dark side. For instance, a beautiful city with petals flowing over the sky happen to have a hidden business with child slavery. P.S.: Kweh!
