Just Because You Can, Doesn’t Mean You Should
from Highland Gospel Mission · host Highland Southern Baptist Church
Greetings everyone, and may mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. We will be in 1 Corinthians 9 today. In Christ, we have the liberty to either be faithful and share the Gospel, and the liberty to ignore God’s command and live a life doing whatever we want. We don’t, however, have liberty over the consequences of those choices. If we are faithful to God’s commands, the benefits are both temporal for our lives, and eternal to other people’s lives. If we aren’t faithful, the consequences are eternal. Choose your liberty carefully. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
