"Just pretend your on a night out with your boys" -why do they assume I have a crew of "boys" 7-7-23

Good evening listeners, Just wanted to share a little laugh with you. I had recently applied for a little gig, the guy organizing it e mailed me about what I should wear for the gig (acting extra) He wrote "just pretend your on a night out with your boys" But he does not realize, that he made an assumption, that I have a crew of "boys" There are some true loners out there, not everyone is part of a "crew" There are some Eleanor Rigbys and Father Mackenzies, so please be mindful.
