Just Wait. It Will All Work Out
from Embrace It All! · host Angela Adams
We live in an “I want it now” world. Instant gratification is quite accessible, and as a society we have become quite accustomed to it. When we are told to wait, notice the thoughts and feelings that come up for you. Think about when you turn on your computer and for some reason it takes more than 10 seconds to boot up. Or when we are searching for something on the internet and it takes more than a few seconds to connect us to the site we want. Waiting is not the norm for us. Instant gratification means we get to feel good instantly, and feeling good is what we want, right? Waiting requires time, patience, effort, and faith. But think about the feelings we experience when we finally get what we have waited for. Those are the feelings that truly change us, and last. For years I have struggled with the "I want it now" thought, and it created a lot of frustration and pain for me when I didn't get what I wanted in the time I wanted. Two weeks ago I had an experience that opened my eyes to the deeper feeings, gifts, and wisdom that I have received when I had to wait, and I want to share this with you today.Don't forget to get on my calendar for a FREE coaching session today. We can talk about your struggle with wanting something now but having to wait. https://coachwithangela.as.me/To connect with Angela AdamsShoot me an email: [email protected]
