Justin Molloy Interview - Adrianne Murphy 20/10/25

from Ros FM 94.6 · host ROS FM

Over the past ten years, over seventy construction workers in Ireland have lost their lives due to falls from heights. The Construction Industry Federation (CIF) launched its annual Construction Safety Campaign for 2025, running from 13th to 24th, October. This year’s theme, ‘Back to Basics’, encourages construction companies in Roscommon to revisit the core principles that keep construction workers safe. Adrianne speaks with Justin Molloy, CIF Director of Western, Midland & Northern Region, about the campaign which urges construction companies to put proper safety measures in place and adhere to them, under their five sub- themes, leadership in safety, working with utilities, developing the next generation, critical risks management, and falls from heights, which form the backbone of the ‘Back to Basics’ safety campaign.
