K2C 38 – Armor of God (Part 2): The Breastplate of Righteousness

In Ephesians 6, the apostle Paul instructs believers to "put on the full armor of God" so they can stand firm against the schemes of the devil. One of the most important pieces of that armor is the breastplate of righteousness. A breastplate protects the most vital areas of the body. In the same way, God's righteousness guards the heart and soul of the believer in spiritual battle. In this episode, Tracy continues the Armor of God series by exploring how righteousness protects us when we face spiritual opposition, temptation, and accusations from the enemy. Drawing insight from the story of David and Goliath, she reminds listeners that our confidence does not come from our own strength, but from the God who has already proven faithful. Just as David trusted the Lord who delivered him from the lion and the bear, believers today can stand with confidence because Jesus has already secured the ultimate victory over sin and Satan at the cross. The armor of God does not prevent spiritual attacks—but it protects us from fatal blows. When we stand in the righteousness of Christ, we fight from a position of victory, united with the One who has already overcome.
