Sometimes a turning pointarrives without warning, bringing loss that is deep and painful. For me,that moment was losing my eyesight. It has been almost eight years sincemy vision disappeared, and the change transformed everything in my life.At first, the pain felt unbearable. My world became dark not onlyphysically but emotionally. I felt lost, hopeless, and broken. Therewere times when I felt like my life had no value anymore. I did not wantanything. I did not want to continue. The weight of the loss wasoverwhelming, and I struggled to find a reason to move forward.However, even in the darkest moments, love can become a light. Mychildren and my family became that light for me. Their encouragement,care, and belief in me slowly helped me stand again. They reminded methat my life still matters and that I still have a purpose.Learning to live without vision has not been easy. Every day bringschallenges, frustration, and moments of doubt. But it has also taught mestrength I never knew I had.
