Kapwa @ Kubo LB - June 22, 2024

On Saturday, June 22, 2024, Pilipinx in Wellness was invited by Intuitive Energy Healer, Reiki Master, Sound Healer, Spiritual Life Coach and Child Life Specialist, Anne Esperanzate in collaboration with the Kubo Organizing Project held at Kubo Long Beach from 11am-3pm. Kapwa was an event that featured Filipinx healers, readers, and wellness practitioners. It opened with a Sound Bath & Ancestral Meditation led by Anne Esperanzate, Iza Ballesteros and Corinne St. Claire. Amongst those who participated included: candles sold by @luyahealing , bodywork provided by @SoulutionTherapy, hilot and stretching through @Layuuhhh and oracle readings by @rockdovewellness. The purpose of the event was to gather community to learn and tap into the alternative holistic and indigenous healing modalities that support the spiritual and wellness journeys of Filipinx American identities. Featured in this audio clip are testimonials from the organizer herself, Anne Esperanzate, one of the co-owners of Kubo LB, Jenn Estacio, Princess of Luya Healing and Herbs and several attendees sharing with us their wellness practices.
