Karmelo Anthony trial update; Fort Worth community grants

Karmelo Anthony was back in the same Collin County courthouse in McKinney, where he was convicted of murdering 17-year-old Austin Metcalf. A new high-profile team of lawyers working pro bono is citing constitutional and legal errors that they argue deprived Anthony of a fair trial. They want the original judge to be removed, and they want a new trial. Caroline Love joined us before the hearing for an overview. Since our conversation, an outside judge approved the defense's motion to recuse Judge John Roach Jr. from the Karmelo Anthony appeal motion for a new trial.
