Im Angesicht des schrecklichen Leidens in der Ukraine gibt es eigentlich keine Worte. Viele Menschen sind erschüttert. Jesus sagt: 'Ihr werdet von Kriegen und Kriegsgeschrei hören, lasst euch dadurch nicht erschrecken'. (Matthäus 24) In diesem Text finden wir ebenfalls die Worte: 'Die Botschaft vom REICH GOTTES wird verkündet werden'. Was ist dieses Reich Gottes? Jesus sagt zu Pilatus: 'Mein Reich ist NICHT von dieser Welt.' (Johannes 18) Durch und in Christus ist eine erfrischende Neuheit in diese Welt hinein gekommen. Doch als die Menschen ihn zum (weltlichen) König Israels machen wollten, 'entwich' er auf einen einsamen Berg. (Johannes 6,15) In dieser Zeit sind wir als 'Bürger seines Reiches' herausgefordert neu durch 'Metanoia', also durch Sinneswandel, die Werte seines Reiches abzubilden. Diese Welt kennt nur diese Welt, eine Welt der Machtkämpfe, ein scheinbar endloses 'Game of Thrones'. Wir als Christen sind dagegen eingeladen, unser Denken und Handeln wieder neu auf das Reich Gottes auszurichten. Ausgehend von dieser Perspektive kann Gutes durch uns in diese Welt hinein fließen!
