KASH PATEL TORCHES DEMS, TRUMP-XI AI STANDOFF LOOMS | WAR ROOM PM W STEVE BANNON

Neil McCabe reports from the Senate Judiciary Committee as FBI Director Kash Patel faces a bruising oversight hearing. Democrats press him on election operations, field-office "election-crisis" coordinators, and whether agents will be near polling places. Republicans highlight enforcement numbers, missing children, fentanyl, and local-law-enforcement cooperation. Bannon frames Patel as prepared and fighting back.   The hearing becomes a preview of November. Control of the House is treated as the hinge of the rest of Trump's term. Wayne Allyn Root pitches his "NEED Act": a presidential national-emergency declaration before Nov. 3 aimed at voter ID, proof of citizenship, and tighter mail-ballot rules. He claims courts cannot block it; that legal claim is disputed.   Andy Browne, longtime China correspondent, walks through Kissinger's late warning that advanced AI could outrun nuclear risk — and why Beijing may reject a freeze while it believes it is behind. Semiconductor controls, compute access, and the Sept. 24 Trump–Xi meeting sit at the center of the contest.   McCabe covers reports of Houthi activity near Saudi territory and Mecca, Saudi air responses, and rising Iran–China contacts after a drone intercept south of the holy city.   Should the FBI stay in the field offices on Election Day — or do midterms require a national emergency on election rules?   #WarRoom #SteveBannon #KashPatel #FBI #SenateJudiciary #Midterms2026 #ElectionIntegrity #ChinaAI #TrumpXi #Kissinger #WayneAllynRoot #NEEDAct #Houthis #RealAmericasVoice   Welcome to the War Room.
