KCLR News interviews Carlow Tourism CEO Eileen O'Rourke (26th June 2026)

On Thursday's KCLR Daily, we heard about the new Grá Carlow initiative from Carlow Chamber's perspective and how the Chamber hopes it will promote and support the retail and hospitality sectors across the county both this summer and on a year-round basis. It also aims to empower shoppers, strengthen local enterprise and showcase the best of what Carlow Town and County has to offer. Carlow Tourism is another partner in this new project and it's aiming to showcase what local residents and those living in neighbouring counties can discover and enjoy in Carlow - something that we in KCLR are also playing an active role in. KCLR's Dermot Keyes found out more about the tourism angle on this new proposition from Eileen O'Rourke, the Chief Executive of Carlow Tourism.
