KCLR News interviews Jean Mann of the Butler Gallery about Cruinniú na nÓg (5th June 2026)

Cruinniú na nÓg is the national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18 and is an initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan. It takes place tomorrow (Saturday, 6th June) with events being held nationwide, including Kilkenny's Butler Gallery where, children's theatre group Trickster and the pupils of St John's National School will stage a live public performance, children's exhibition and workshop titled: 'Gather To Welcome The Guardian.' Jean Mann is the Learning and Public Engagement Curator at the Butler Gallery and she told KCLR's Dermot Keyes what visitors to the gallery can expect tomorrow afternoon.
