KCLR News reports on the launch of the County Kilkenny Heritage Strategy (August 5th 2026)

Safeguarding and promoting the heritage of the city and county between now and 2030 is at the heart of the new County Kilkenny Heritage Strategy. The strategy, which is a collaboration between Kilkenny County Council and the County Kilkenny Heritage Forum - with the support of the Heritage Council - was launched at Butler House this morning (August 5th). Speaking to KCLR News following the launch, Kilkenny County Council Heritage Officer Regina Fitzpatrick said she was looking forward to seeing the new strategy flourish.
