Keep Going, You're Doing Great

from The Ruth Montgomery Show · host Ruth Montgomery

Joining me this week is Bill Elliott, a good person, who is passionate about powerlifting, music and is here to share part of his story. Bill has had lifelong health problems which have led to two open heart surgeries by the age of 34, yet an awareness of his body that allowed him to deadlift 545lbs. In this episode, we talk about expectation management, and discuss long term goals vs. plans. Bill shares how his health has allowed him the time to self-reflect and has created a unique perspective on asking for help, receiving help and the idea of helplessness.
