Pastor Darrell preaches on Matthew 6:19-24 where we are encouraged to lay up for ourselves treasures in heaven instead of treasures on earth. God is graciously developing obedience in this, so we can ask ourselves, "Where is my heart?" "What am I applying myself to?" "How am I spending my time, service, and finances?" We can trust that God will renew us in the image of Christ who, though he was rich, yet for our sakes became poor so that we, through His poverty, might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).
