Der Iran reagierte nach eigenen Angaben mit Warnschüssen. Fast 50 Staats- und Regierungschefs kommen zum Gipfel der Europäischen Politischen Gemeinschaft (EPG) in Jerewan zusammen – Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz lässt sich durch Frankreichs Präsident Emmanuel Macron vertreten. Auf dem Treffen geht es um Sicherheitspolitik, Demokratieförderung, wirtschaftliche Entwicklung und Energiesicherheit.
