Kevin Driscoll - Founder of Real Hoops - Episode 1190

Kevin Driscoll is currently the Director of Real Hoops and has spent the last 25 years coaching or playing basketball at the high school & college level including 10 years as a Division 1 assistant coach. In his role at Real Hoops Driscoll is a recruiting advisor, exposure camp operator & film study coach. Driscoll previously spent 4 years as a men’s basketball assistant coach at Marist College from 2018-2022 and also served as assistant coach at Loyola University Maryland of the Patriot League in 2017-18 season. He was an assistant coach at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in 2016-17, and was an assistant at Holy Cross from 2013-16. Driscoll has four years of experience as a Director of Hoop Group Elite Camp and began his coaching career with three years as an assistant at Albright College from 2006-2009.Driscoll began his coaching career as the head boys’ basketball coach at his alma mater, Hamburg (Pennsylvania) High School, from 2004-06.As a player, Driscoll was a four-year letterwinner at Misericordia University, helping the Cougars to a pair of ECAC Division III Postseason Tournament appearances.On this episode Mike & Kevin discuss the intricacies of basketball recruitment and the invaluable role of personalized coaching in the development of aspiring players.
