Kilkenny County Council's MaryMulholland on speeding on the N25 (21st May 2026)

The results of a Transport Infrastructure Ireland review regarding a section of the N25 at Glenmore where a static speed camera was installed a year ago are due in the coming weeks. The May meeting of Kilkenny County Council was informed of the TII review, where the five Piltown Municipal District Councillors called for a review of the speed signage approaching on that section of road for motorists approaching from New Ross. Director of Services Mary Mulholland spoke to Dermot Keyes of KCLR News about the highly publicised route and the attention it has attracted in recent months.
