Killers Review— Ashton Kutcher's Rock Bottom?

Is this the worst thing Ashton Kutcher has ever starred in? Shockingly, the answer might be yes. Joshua Hunter revisits Killers, the 2010 action-comedy where Kutcher and Katherine Heigl play newlyweds whose marriage gets upended when it turns out he's a retired assassin with a target on his back. Joshua doesn't hold back — breaking down how flat and checked-out Kutcher's performance feels throughout, from the action beats (including a horrible fight against Rob Riggle) to the comedic timing, and why his chemistry with Heigl is shockingly absent in every way it needs to be to make this film work. Joshua gives his honest verdict: is this a fun, trashy watch worth revisiting, or a movie that should stay buried in the past where it belongs? 🍍 The Reel Pineapple is your one-stop shop for honest movie reviews, trailer breakdowns, and unfiltered film talk — no hype, no gatekeeping, just reel takes from someone who actually loves this stuff. 📺 Subscribe on YouTube: youtube.com/thereelpineapple 🦋 Follow on BlueSky: reelpineapple.bsky.social 🎥 Follow on TikTok & Instagram: @jhunterreelpineapple 🎬 Follow on Letterboxd: BlackShazam 🎮 Catch me live on Twitch: twitch.tv/thereelpineapple ⭐ Love the show?
